AOG celebrates 30 years of entrepreneurial investment

AOG is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and we have come a long way since we began on 9 December 1987!
We have consistently applied a dynamic and diversified investment strategy across all our activities, starting in the energy sector in Africa and the Middle East, trading, downstream and upstream, and for almost a decade in commercial real estate in Europe and North America, as well as other capital investments.
We have invested in different sectors over the years, yet we have always approached them with the same philosophy and values: an entrepreneurial spirit, the ability to recognise opportunities and take carefully calculated risks, acting with fairness and respect. This combination of characteristics has led to our success over 30 years and will continue to drive our endeavours.
I would like to thank the hundreds of men and women who have dedicated their energy and talent to our success, and to acknowledge the valuable relationships with our clients, partners and other stakeholders as the Group has developed.
For the future, we will certainly continue to evolve as an established, but never establishment, firm, with always a twist of the unexpected. Whatever that evolution, I wish us all every continued success.
